The Book talks about all the significant battles each in pages, some with more info than others. this kept me wanting more but it only offered glimpse on who was fighting who and why and in some more elaborated battles a small paragraph on how the battle was won. it is a good read to identify the greatest and largest battles in history however, it did not deliver in captivating me with the 4/5(10). An amazing, enlightening, and endlessly entertaining look at how weather has shaped our hout history, great leaders have fallen, the outcomes of mighty battles have been determined, and the tides of earth-shattering events have been turned by a powerful, inscrutable.
